Can I keep my phone number when I switch to nbn® Phone?

Yes, you can transfer your existing phone numbers to an nbn® phone service. You can use the phone port on the back of our Netcomm and FRITZ!Box modem/router, or you can use an IP handset.

To request the transfer:

1. Ensure that the phone number is active with the other service provider, as we cannot port a disconnected number.

2. Include the phone plan in your nbn® Order. You can order your nbn® Bundle here.

3. After signing up, our team will request a copy of your invoice for the phone number you wish to transfer.

4. Upon receipt, our team will submit the port request, which may take 7 to 10 business days to complete. (*timeframe may vary depending on the losing provider)

5. Once ported, our team will provide you with the nbn® Phone settings to enter on your modem.
