What is DataBank?
DataBank is a feature that allows you to roll over unused data from your monthly plan to the next billing period, up to a maximum cap. This means you can save data for future use instead of losing it at the end of each month.
What is data gifting?
Data gifting allows you to share a portion of your monthly data allowance with other Tangerine mobile users. You can gift up to 50% of your standard data allowance per billing period.
How do I gift data?
1. Log into the Tangerine Self Care Portal.
2. Go to 'Mobile' > 'Active Mobile Services'.
3. Select the service you want to gift data from.
4. Choose 'Gift Data'.
5. Enter the recipient's mobile number and the amount of data you want to gift.
Who can I gift data to?
You can gift data to any other Tangerine mobile user, even if they are not on the same account.
How much data can I gift?
You can gift up to 50% of your standard monthly data allowance per billing period.
Can I track my gifted data?
Yes, you can view your gifted data history in the Self Care Portal under 'Mobile' > 'Active Mobile Services'.
Does unused gifted data expire?
No, unused gifted data will be added to your DataBank.
